It might have come like a thrashing from the London Tourism Authority, but the backpackers have to look for some other destination if they want to keep their travel budget unchanged.
Point under consideration is that the entry tickets to all the London’s top attractions have seen a rise of up to 175% during the last one decade.
According to The Star, Madame Tussaud’s led the way as the most expensive at £25 (about R300) per person, a rise of 174% from the £8,75 admission fee in 1996.
Ticket rates for other popular London sights are:
Kew Gardens - £10
London Dungean - £15.50
Kensington Palace - £11
Westminster Abbey - £8
