Year 2007 will be best year for Young Scots as they can explore entire Scotland with the awesome cheap fares, on offer by the government. A new scheme launched by the government, through which all young Scots can avail 33 percent discounts on bus and rail travel and also two free return ferry journeys to the Scottish mainland, will come into force on next January.
Scottish ministers announced that people aged from16 to 18, will pay one third off on bus and rail journey. The scheme will also cover the full-time volunteers up to the age of 25. But to take the advantage one has to buy two types of cards. The UK-wide card scheme will work in trains and expects to cost around £20. Well, it’s a commendable offer by Scottish government for youngsters which helps save lots of money as most of the teens depend upon their parents.
