With the inflation of gas prices, tourists are being increasingly money-savvy and before leaving for any summer vacation, their fists are economically tightened by making them think once, twice, thrice and number of times, where to go this summer.
However, do not worry this time as AAA has ranked Nebrask, in its annual Vacation Cost Survey, as the country’s second most cost-effective travel destination.
Lisa Cox, executive director of the North Platte/Lincoln County Convention and Visitors Bureau, says that Nebraska is ranked just behind South Dakota, and promises the lowest costs for vacation food and lodging, approximately $191 per day.
